In recent weeks, the Hindu Samawi community of Majhiyar, Uttar Pradesh began celebrating the Navaratri festival. A celebration was also held for Romo, beloved companion of Zahratallah, in both the East and West, as well as an international celebration of Mehregan. The Local Samawi Council of Airdrie, Canada, organized the first public Samawi Feast in Canadian history where food, learning and merriment were had followed by a viewing of the 2005 documentary “The Theme of Creation: An Exploration of Meher Baba's 'God Speaks”. At the third and final council meeting in Airdrie, Canada, preparations were made for the establishment of the Nineteen-day Feast in perpetuity alongside future holiday and interfaith plans before the Local Samawi Council of Airdrie officially dissolved in accordance with the Mehregan celebration message. Additionally, the Sorcerer known as Thryn gave his love and blessings to the Samawi world at large on their feast day.
